Советские Вооруженные Силы пресекли все поползновения империалистов помешать социалистическому строительству: наголову разгромили белокитайцев в 1929 г., японцев у Хасана в 1938 г. и у Халхин-Гола в 1939 г., белофиннов в 1939—1940 гг.
Великие победы наших Вооруженных Сил над германским фашизмом (1941—1945 гг.) и японским империализмом (1945 г.) показали всему миру превосходство нашего советского общественного строя, подлинный триумф советской военной
науки, разработанной гениальным полководцем И. В. Сталиным. „Это наше счастье,—указывал В. М. Молотов,—что в трудные годы войны Красную Армию и советский народ вел вперед мудрый и испытанный вождь Советского Союза—великий Сталин“. 32nd ANNIVERSARY OF THE SOVIET ARMED FORCES
February 23rd is solemnly celebrated by our people as the 32nd anniversary of the Soviet Armed Forces.
The organizers and builders of the invincible army of socialism were the greatest revolutionary strategists Lenin and Stalin.
Under the leadership of Lenin and Stalin, our Armed Forces achieved world-historical victories in battles against the enemies of the Motherland.

The Soviet Armed Forces suppressed all attempts by imperialists to hinder socialist construction: they decisively defeated the White Chinese in 1929, the Japanese at Lake Khasan in 1938 and at Khalkhin Gol in 1939, and the White Finns in 1939–1940.
The great victories of our Armed Forces over German fascism (1941–1945) and Japanese imperialism (1945) demonstrated to the entire world the superiority of our Soviet social system, the true triumph of Soviet military science, developed by the genius commander I. V. Stalin. "It is our fortune," stated V. M. Molotov, "that in the difficult years of war, the Red Army and the Soviet people were led forward by the wise and tested leader of the Soviet Union—great Stalin." Our army proved to be the only army in the world capable of crushing the Hitlerite hordes and saving humanity from the threat of fascist enslavement.
The Soviet Army is a first-class army, possessing high moral-political and combat qualities, equipped with advanced military technology, and led by the most experienced command staff. The strength of our army lies in its devotion to the Motherland, the cause of communism, the Bolshevik Party, and our beloved Stalin.
Our army is the beloved child of the Soviet people.
The 32nd anniversary of its Armed Forces is celebrated by our people in an atmosphere of enormous political and labor enthusiasm, with new victories on the path to communism.
The Soviet people vigilantly monitor the machinations of warmongers. The heroic Armed Forces of the USSR stand guard over their peaceful creative labor.
